A small and attractive French Empire patinated and ormolu sculptural mantel clock Grandperrin à Perrin circa 1805.

enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Grandperrin à Paris and blued Breguet hands. The 8-day movement with anchor escapement and silk suspended pendulum. Striking the hours fully and a single strike for the half hours on a bell. Patinated bronze fluted case surmounted by an ormolu seated figure of Cupid reading. The oval plinth raised on bun feet.
